Fund-raising thanks to Beacon Academy

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone at Beacon Academy in Crowborough who took part in the festive fund-raising for Foodbank.

Pupils and staff dressed up in Christmas jumpers to get into the seasonal spirit and made a donation to Crowborough Foodbank and the Crowborough Hygiene Bank.

More than £1,000 was raised which has been split between the two charities. Foodbank co-ordinator, Mike Cooke, gratefully received the donation from one of Beacon’s deputy head students, Lily, recently.
